  • The company continued to grow rapidly both in terms of revenue and customer confidence. Solvera Lynx joined us as one of the most recognized start-ups.
  • We continued to strive to be present at all major advertising events in Slovenia and abroad. This year, we also visited SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI, DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY. We participated in expert juries in the selection of WEBSI Internet awards and we gave lectures at numerous trainings (OpenIT, Marketing magazine, RIC Bela krajina) and organized GDPR workshops at the MLC Faculty of Management and Law.
  • The owners participated again in CEED, where we have been gaining a wealth of new knowledge and fresh perspectives as part of numerous trainings and meetings with other entrepreneurs.
  • We continued to upgrade our knowledge from books, forums, blogs and various training courses by inviting numerous experts to participate, and introducing regular in-house training for content marketing, website optimization, Google AdWords advertising. This proved to be a great investment as we combined existing knowledge with the know-how of other companies.
  • Despite our growth, we remained focused on the well-being of all our employees and our customers. We arranged regular get-togethers for birthday parties and occasional team-buildings. This means that we accepted the invitation to canyoning from Altitude Activities. Since we did not manage to organize our annual picnic in the summer, we joined forces with our clients at a party at the end of the year.
  • Jan, Marko and Klavdija also joined us.

  • Uroš attended the Marketing Festival, which took place in Prague, Czech Republic.
  • Uroš and Jure became permanent participants in CEED.
  • Being aware of the importance of working with business partners, we organized an annual picnic.
  • Špela joins in July.
  • In July, we sold everything related to teaching under the E-doktrina (E-doctrine) brand and also Ambo storitve in September.
  • We also increased our efficiency with healthy internal competition.
  • We acquired another major customer for our client, Hotel Marita from Portorož.
  • To increase the motivation and efficiency of our employees, from this year on we have been placing greater emphasis on longer team buildings and socializing, as well as organizing a couple of days of (work) vacation in Pula.
  • Uroš is still a participant of SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI events (he has been on the jury since 2013), DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY (he has also been a lecturer at NETFORK ACADEMY since 2013).
  • We end the year with 379,561€ in revenue.

  • Moving to an even larger office "forces" us into hiring two additional team members.
  • Team buildings are becoming regular.
  • We are aware of the importance of good customer relationships, that is why we organized a picnic.
  • We also included Coris insurance, Brewiks breweries and craft beer shop Že v redu Primož as our clients.
  • Uroš participated at SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI events (he has been on the jury since 2013), DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY (he has also been a lecturer at NETFORK ACADEMY since 2013).
  • Google invited Jure and Uroš to a Google Partners seminar in Greece.
  • We built more websites and stores, and managed an increasing amount of Google AdWords campaigns, ending the year with a record 277,538€.

  • Due to the increasing volume of work, we expanded the business premises with an additional office.
  • Uroš again participated at SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI events (he has been on the jury since 2013), DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY (he has also been a lecturer at NETFORK ACADEMY since 2013) and lectures at virtually every seminar about optimization, he barely missed any.
  • Uroš also attended the Brno Marketing Festival.
  • After 6 years, we finally get our CGP - the shoemaker's children went barefoot for a long time.
  • In June, we organized a picnic and get together with clients and business partners.
  • In 2015, we expanded our scope of operations to include larger clients operating in the international market. Loccitane and Thermana Laško are among the most notable.
  • Even in team buildings, there is plenty of competition between team mates, which is why we think bowling is ideal.
  • Dario joined in June.
  • Google is increasingly updating its algorithm, but an experienced team of SEO experts is successfully following the changes and learning constantly, which is also reflected in a large increase in annual revenue. For the first time, we end the year with revenues in excess of 200,000€; at 237,092€ to be precise.

2014


  • The owners of Dominatus have started being recognized in the magazine Computer News as experts, and they were also asked to provide regular articles with advice.
  • Uroš is still a participant at SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI events (he has been on the jury since 2013), DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY (he has also been a lecturer at NETFORK ACADEMY since 2013) and lectures at increasingly diverse seminars, improving his credibility.
  • We regularly exchanged our views with the competition, and we also went on a joint trip.
  • We organized our first picnic for clients and business partners, many of whom have also become our friends.
  • At the end of the year, we acquired a new client Simobil, now called A1.
  • At the end of the year, a successful adaptation to the Google algorithm is shown, as we ended the year with 150,515€ in revenue.

  • Rok joined us in January.
  • The 05/22/2013 Google Update Penguin 2.0 made a lot of problems that we have successfully solved and minimized any future problems after this event as we have purchased many Internet tools for this purpose.
  • Started to regularly post articles on the web media of EnaA.com.
  • We continued with lectures co-organized with Nasvet.com.
  • Uroš again participated at SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI events (he has been on the jury since 2013), DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY (he has also been a lecturer at NETFORK ACADEMY since 2013).
  • Dinner on New Year's Eve was also a pleasant get-together with our clients and business partners this year.
  • This year was not as successful due to Penguin as we generated 128,994€ in annual revenue.

  • Together with Nokia, we also moved Spletni-slovar.com to Symbian. The excellent mobile app quickly caught on with Nokia users, but unfortunately stopped working after 3 months.
  • Uroš continued to be loyal to the most important marketing festivals in Slovenia: SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI, DIGGIT, Netfork Academy, Tip, and co-organized an increasing number of seminars on website optimization, Google advertising, user experience and content marketing.
  • Partnership with Legat consultor to enter the Croatian market (establishment of an online business directory of the Republic of Croatia - https://www.epirh.com/)
  • We gained approx. 30 new clients for SEO and SEM, we also offered advertising on FB for the first time.
  • We got 2 large and visible customers for our clients, 1nadan.si and enaA.com.
  • That year, we also met our clients and business partners at a joint New Year's Eve dinner.
  • The team was able to generate 158,732€ in annual revenue thanks to new clients and enviable results through website optimization.

  • Uroš Okorn was becoming more and more famous, lecturing more frequently on web site optimization seminars. For the third year in a row, Uroš had been attending SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI, DIGGIT, NETFORK ACADEMY events.
  • We have also created quite a few large online stores, and we already have many clients in the field of SEO and we still work with most of them today.
  • We again organized a joint New Year's Eve dinner for our clients and business partners since good relationships with our customers are very important to us.
  • We organized a seminar on Website Optimization.
  • We acquired Studio Moderna as our client.
  • We got the first customer for Google AdWords, doing Search and Remarketing on Display.
  • In March 2011, Uroš and Jure purchased half of Ambo usluge, an online retailer of carnival costumes, underwear and sex shop products.
  • The team was the same as last year, but we still managed to increase our revenue to 120,886€.
  • The Finance daily wrote about us this year as well: Article 1 and Article 2.

  • We moved to the offices in Brezovica where we still work.
  • Uroš attended SOF, SEMPL, WEBSI, DIGGIT events.
  • We have acquired some of the major regular SEO clients, and we are still working with some of them today.
  • Even financial journal Finance recognized our success.
  • Uroš conducted his first regular lecture on website optimization in collaboration with Nasvet.com. He had also lectured at the Faculty of Media (FAME).
  • Gregor joined us in April and Tina joined in August.
  • Before New Year, we met again with our business partners and customers for dinner.
  • We also expanded our team of contractors, with whom we generated 87,032€ in annual revenue.
  • The Finance daily published articles about us: Article 1, Article 2, Article 3.

  • Starting an independent path in a home apartment.
  • First earnings with own domains (www.spletne-igre.si, www.spletni-slovar.com etc.), and the path towards profits was paved before the start of business.
  • The first regular income was also provided by translation, proofreading and instructions.
  • Uroš and Jure also acquired the first 3 regular clients for website optimization and user experience.
  • Because we were aware of the importance of clients, we organized a New Year's Eve dinner the first year.
  • Uroš attended SOF and SEMPL events.
  • In the first year of operation (last 5 months of the year), the revenue was 19,199€.

  • 2006 – 2008 => Worked at Apridesol, where he was responsible for the development of applications for monitoring activities in the call centre, responsible for the installation and maintenance of call centres on the Avaya communication system
  • 2006 => Started developing an online dictionary in his spare time - spletni-slovar.com (the reason for the development was that there were no useful online dictionaries yet)
  • He made a mistake in developing the online dictionary, which he learned a lot from
    (the mistake was that he only started with Slovene, and added other languages later. A mistake that has brought him many successes in the future, as he never repeated it on any other project)
  • 2008–2009 => Programmer at Megaklik (bolha.com)
    (he already worked with Uroš in the development of portals of bolha.com and njuškalo.hr)
  • It was written in his genes or in his blood that he will have his own business someday, so by the time he worked at Bolha, he started thinking what he would do, and he began to negotiate with Uroš and two other marketers from Bolha to go on their own. But they were stuck with the business plan for all four persons in the company, meaning that he started collaborating only with Uroš. This is how Dominatus was formed which originated solely from the idea in their heads and without a concrete business plan.

  • In his student years (2002), he performed internship in Celtic, now Spletna postaja, with whom we still cooperate.
  • Programmed an accounting program 4WEB (2003 - 2004) in Delphi and also did the first pages in PHP, MySQL and HTML.
  • 2005 – 2009 => IT Director and Head of Development at Bolha.com and Njuškalo.hr.
  • 2007 => Got a job in Bolha to lead the development of Bolha.com and Njuskalo.hr - with this task he first met with marketing and thus realized that marketing is what he wants to do in the future.
  • 2007 => He was given the task of developing a search engine for Bolha.com and Njuškalo.hr, so he started researching search engine's operations thoroughly and in detail, and within one year, he developed excellent search engines for both sites.
  • He was also responsible for upgrading the functionality of the websites at Bolha.
  • 2007–2013 => Because he was so interested in marketing, he started inbound marketing through 3 ZAN and initially gained clients, mainly for SEO.
  • He basically learned to be a programmer, and through his work he realized that he was much more pleased with internet marketing; he learned that he was much more interested in WHY something is done and not so much HOW (why you program something and not how you program something), which consequently lead to setting up his own business.
  • Both are also very successful in lecturing and seminars at Nasvet, OpenIT and Marketing Magazine and other seminars (lectures on: Website Optimization (SEO) and Google AdWords Advertising).
  • 2011–2017 => Owners of Ambo Services (Sale of erotic accessories, underwear and carnival costumes).
